Dropped the Bike The bike slid into a left-over melting snow bank full of sand and rocks created earlier in the week by a snow plow. It scratched up the windscreen really bad.
This is What Happened The windscreen was scratched so bad you couldn't see through it.
3M Headlight Lens Restoration System, 39008 20.00 at amazon.. This product was first developed for military aircraft canopies and H60 helicopter windscreens.
Sanded with 800 This stage removes the scratches . I didn't use the 500 grit which was for deep scratches and discolored plastic headlights.
Sanded with 800 I had a go at it again. You can still see some deeper scratches.

3000 grit wet pad
Dampening the 3000 grit Pad Filled a sprayer with water.
Wet the Windscreen Wet sand with the 3000 pad.
This removed the scratches Wet sand with the 3000 pad. You can actually see through it now.
Polishing Pad Now it's starting to look like something. You put a little compound on the pad and buff it out.
Polishing Pad You put a little compound on the pad and smear it around before you buff it out. This keeps the compound from spattering.
I took the Windscreen off the Bike I wanted to clean spatter off the back of the plastic.
Mission Accomplished Windscreen Looks Great. I can now see through it.
