Charges Lithium batteries. Performance cycle 50.00
Access the battery box on the left side of the bike
The battery box cover is also the tool box.
Pop the vertical strap off. Turn the phillips 1/2 turn and pull the plastic rivet out. By removing the battery I could get a better look for places to bring my wires in.
12v 6Ah (20HR)/ 72Wh. CCA:120A. Max charge rate:14.7V 35A. Honda Part No. 31500-MKK-A02. 325.00.. This battery is 1/2 the power of my YTZ14S on the KTM
I needed better access to see where to run my wires.
I snaked the fat side of the cord up and inside the frame rail and pulled it out up top.
I fished the 2 battery ends into the box from the top.
I slid the battery in. Don't loose the square nuts that hold the hot and ground terminals.
I pushed the red charge cord up and aligned the terminals..
Screwing the terminal in.
You need to trim a slot in the red plastic terminal cover for the new wire and push it into the groove between the battery. This insulator has to be flush for the cover to fit on.
This made a nice installation and the charger is now active.
