Mark the Tire Rotation Motorcycle tires are unidirctional. Their treads are designed to turn in one direction. The tires have rotational arrows but it's extra insurance to mark the wheels so the shop mounts them correctly.

Remove Both Calipers Remove the caliper bolts with a 14mm socket

Hang the Calipers Using Clothes Hanger Wire Hang the Calipers Using Clothes Hanger Wire. You do not want the calipers to hang by the brake lines.
Brake Pads These are the fronts. Inspect the pads for wear. When they get down to the bottom of the grooves replace them. There are 11,000 miles on these pads.
Remove the Axle Nut Remove the Axle Nut 22mm socket
Loosen the 4 Pinch Bolts Holding the Axle in Loosen the 4 Pinch Bolts Holding the Axle in with a 10mm socket
Remove the Axle Tap the axle out.
Remove the Axle I used a 3/8" socket extension to push the axle out.
Remove the Axle The axle coming out the right side of the bike.
Remove the Axle The axle is out and the wheel is free.
Remove the Side Collars Remove the Side Collars. These just pull out. Both sides are the same. Put these aside. Anything that can fall off and get lost does not go to the tire store.
Take the Wheel to the Tire Store Took about 35 minutes to mount and balance the tire.
Paint Mark Lines Up With the Tire Valve A paint mark is the factory identified lightest part of the tire. It gets mounted aligned with the tire valve.
Put Grease on the Front Seals Wipe out dirt and put waterproof Grease on the Front Seals
Grease the Side Collars Clean off the side collars and grease. These are also called wheel spacers.
Push the side collars in Clean off the side collars and grease. These are also called wheel spacers.
Lightly Coat the Axle With Grease Lightly Coat the Axle With Grease. Don't get grease on the brake rotors.
Roll the Wheel in Place Roll the Wheel in Place
Line up the axle You can just raise or lower the forks to line up the axle.
Insert the Axle Insert the Axle from the right side of the bike.
Tap the Axle Through Tap the axle through with a rubber hammer till the threads are all exposed.
Screw on the Axle Nut Screw on the flanged Axle Nut
Torque the Front Axle Nut Torque the Front Axle Nut to 48ft lbs. using a 22mm socket.
Torque the Left 2 Pinch Bolts Torque the Left 2 Pinch Bolts to 16 ft/lbs. Don't do the right side yet.
Put Locktite on the Brake Caliper Bolts Put Locktite on the Brake Caliper Bolts
Position the Brake Caliper Over the Rotor Put the brake rotor in between the 2 brake pads in the caliper and push into place. The caliper will align with the 2 pins in the fork bracket.
Run the Caliper Bolts in. Run the Caliper Bolts in.
Torque All the Caliper Bolts to 33ft/lbs Torque All the Caliper Bolts to 33ft/lbs
Put the Bike on the Ground Pump up the front brakes till they're hard. Hold the brake while you push the bike foreward and pump the forks. This will seat the axle.
Torque the Right Side Pinch Bolts. Torque the Right Side Pinch Bolts to 16 ft/lbs
Air Up the Tire Air Up the Tire
All Done All Done. Take the bike for a test ride.
