2022 Honda Africa Twin ROX Risers

Rox 1-3/4" pivoting / kickback handlebar risers for 1-1/8" handlebar and 1-1/8 stem. Part No 3R-P2PPLK. Be aware that the tank bag may not fit with the handlebars moved back.

The 2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport has a wide handlebar. My neck was killing me and I needed the bar to be farther back for good posture. I'm a short rider so what works for me won't necessarily work for you.

Install Rox Riser on a 2022 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100 ATAS Remove the OEM handlebar riser clamps with a 10mm socket.

Install Rox Riser on a 2022 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100 ATAS Lift the handlebar up and out of the way.. You can see the ROX risers with the round shafts. Place the ROX riser shafts in the existing Honda risers. Place the Honda clamps over them. Put Locktite blue on the Honda screws and run the screws in. Don't tighten. Note that the Honda clamps will tighten around the riser shafts while the ROX clamps won't.

Place the handlebar on the ROX riser and position it where you want it. This entails rotating the risers on the shafts. This picture is showing the incorrect clamps in the lower position.

Once the ROX riser is in position you'll have to move the handlebar out of the way. to tighten the lower clamp screws. Put the handlebar back on and rotate it to your final position.

Install Rox Riser on a 2022 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100 ATAS Place the ROX caps over the handlebars. and tighten the 4 screws holding the caps.

Now that you moved the handlebar you'll have to reroute some of the cables to loosen them up. Remove and reposition cable ties. The brake line has a rubber grommet that runs through a metal retainer clip. Push the grommet out of the clip to give it more slack.

Install Rox Riser on a 2022 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100 ATAS Now that you moved the handlebar you'll have to reroute some of the cables to loosen them up. Remove and reposition cable ties. The brake line has a rubber grommet that runs through a metal retainer clip. Push the grommet out of the clip to give it more slack.
