Remove the OEM Risers

Why would you want to do this. The bike fell over on its right side in the garage. The handlebars were jacked to the right and I wasn't sure why. I took this apart to make sure the OEM risers weren't bent. It turned out that the risers were fine, just knocked off center. Loosening everything up and aligning the bike took care of most of it. Holding the front wheel and twisting the handlebars took care of the rest.

Put a ROX riser on a 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sport

The 2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport has a wide handlebar. My neck was killing me and I needed the bar to be farther back towards me for better posture. I'm a short rider so what works for me won't necessarily work for you.

Removing the OEM handguards on a 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sport

The 2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport has cheap all plastic handguards that I'm replacing with Barkbusters. The OEM guards are held on with brackets that use the brake and clutch lever pivot pins so removing them is a little more than just undoing a handlebar clamp.

Installing Barkbusters Storm handguards on a 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sport

The Barkbusters have a heavy aluminum backbone support which holds the Storm plastic guards. I went with the storms' because they are larger and will keep the wind off my hands in cold weather.
